Responsible for completing tasks related to consumer small business and commercial lending activities to ensure effective operations compliance and achievement of goals. Complete financial statement analysis to determine the appropriate loan structure and pricing and make recommendations to management. Demonstrates teamwork through positive interaction and cooperation with fellow associates members of management and other branches and departments. Supports and promotes the Credit Unions Vision Mission Culture and Core Values.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the member business loan and commercial loan participation portfolio including underwriting new loan requests annual reviews collections and reporting to management.
- Spread and analyze corporate and individual financial statements and tax returns.
- Perform ongoing analysis of borrower financial performance and complete annual credit relationship review.
- Review and decision consumer loan applications ensuring compliance with loan policy lending guidelines banking laws and regulations.
- Complete financial analysis to determine appropriate structure and pricing for loan requests.
- Identify exceptions to policy and fully document deviation from policy.
- Coordinate with lending staff to gather and clear underwriting conditions process and fund loans.
- Order and review appraisals title work flood certification credit reports and other items as necessary to process various loan types.
- Prepare initial and final mortgage and home equity loan disclosures within regulatory timelines.
- Prepare mortgage home equity and consumer loan closing documents within established timeframes.
- Process title liens and follow upon outstanding items with borrowers lending staff dealerships and offices of the county clerk.
- Performs such duties as may be required from time to time for the overall management and operation of the Credit Union.

- Monitors expenditures and implements corrective action to exercise fiscal responsibility.
- Preform quality control review of loan documents.
- Prepares and delivers adverse actions notices when required.
Educational/Experience Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum of two years of related experience in the financial services industry.
- Minimum of one year mortgage or consumer underwriting experience preferred.
- Equivalent work experience may be substituted for education requirement.

Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge of lending and deposit products compliance rules policies and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to analyze financial statements in terms of cash flow debt service projection and trend analysis.
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and ability to read a financial statement.
- Strong written verbal and presentation communication skills with the ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong organizational skills detail oriented efficient and ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy.
- Intermediate to advanced technical skills with Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to define problems collect data establish facts draw conclusions document and present findings to senior management while dealing with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
- Ability to write reports correspondence policies and procedures
