Gems Setra is seeking a talented Product Manager that will be responsible for driving the growth of our Flow and Valve product lines. In this position you will work closely with customers to understand needs in the markets we serve innovate with new products/applications/services and deliver for our customers with ownership across the full product lifecycle. This role will require you to build and realize product roadmaps develop a deep understanding of customer applications evaluate our price and performance positioning in the market and lead a portfolio go-to-market strategy. You will join a diverse team of experienced Product Managers with strong business acumen technical and data-driven backgrounds and an overall passion for solving problems.
A Successful Candidate will:
- Own all aspects of your product portfolio including achievement of financial plans and demonstrated ability to drive growth orders revenue margin through the use of daily management and problem solving practices.
- Build the multi-year roadmap for your portfolio with cross-functional teams using market analysis tools and through continued evaluation of new product opportunities.
- Drive Voice-of-Customer (VOC) collection and experimentation for your products to develop market knowledge (customer personas segmentation etc.) and create conviction and focus for prioritizing solutions that meet customers applications and are business strategic for the longer term.
- Build business cases (profit/loss scenario risks etc.) to support future opportunities and present to management.
- Perform competitive evaluation and global market analysis to develop clear product positioning and pricing strategies that generate incremental revenue and expand market share.
- Identify differentiated value propositions of your products and partner with Marketing and Sales to improve customer gain-share activities including meaningful sales collateral where to hunt maps and sales enablement presentations.
- Guide and work with Engineering to design solutions and features while prioritizing those to drive the most return on investment and ensure sustainable success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering Business or relevant field is required.
- 3 years of relevant work experience (Product Line Engineering Marketing) on global products.
- Strong foundation in marketing fundamentals including pricing positioning articulating value propositions building a differentiated strategy understanding customer needs and more.
- Analytical & logical fact-based problem solving experience.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities to groups large and small.
- Resourceful collaborative teammate and possesses an owner mentality.
- Effective at time management and priority setting.
- Can travel domestically and internationally approximate amount of travel 25% with up to 50% travel during first 3-6 months.
