Position Summary

The 12-month Future Trader Program offers a customized development journey structured in a vigorous intellectually stimulating environment. The program offers direct access to senior traders and leaders in an open working environment designed to encourage the free flow of ideas and information.

The Future Trader program offers insights into the core aspects of global agriculture and food value chains. Participants will explore our business through a blend of structured training hands-on learning regular feedback sessions and guidance from inspiring mentors.

Program Phases

Phase I: A learning zone - formal exposure to multiple facets of trades including cash/ derivative trading logistics execution and commercials. Who are we what do we do and how do we operate.

Phase II: Hands-on exposures across business models/geographies mentored by a senior trader/mentor designed to fast-track your knowledge of the business/function. You will be placed in your potential role with clear responsibilities to deliver.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• Professional working proficiency in another language is strongly preferred.
• Valid CFA certification is nice to have.
• Strong entrepreneurial and innovative approach to taking initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze supply demand and trade flow fundamentals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to connect multiple information sources and make sense of market signals.
• Ability to negotiate and think critically.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and have a genuine interest in learning about trading.
• Resourceful creative versatile and able to work autonomously and in a team environment.
• Advanced experience in Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities projects ad hoc requests and meet deadlines.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with diverse teams across many geographies and time zones.

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Mathematics Accounting Finance Technology (Quant) Agricultural Science or a related field.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a corporate environment preferably in a trading desk support role.
