General Summary:
- Works under the direct supervision of the Rehabilitation Team Leader and/or the Inpatient or Outpatient Manager
- Uses objective evaluation techniques to assess the physical limitations and medical condition of patients
- Prescribes and implements a treatment program which is designed to return patients to their maximum level of function
- Develops the services staff education to meet the standards of care
- Works collaboratively with all members of the multidisciplinary health care team to maximize patient and team outcomes
- Promotes improvement in service department and hospital systems to benefit patient care
- Incorporates and operationalizes the goals and objectives of the organization
- Mentors others to promote quality and excellence of care
- Coordinate educational activities on the service
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current Maryland licensure as Physical Therapist
- CPR certification Course C
- Three years as a Physical Therapist.
Shift:
- 10:30am 7:00pm Monday-Friday - weekends required
Salary Range: Minimum$37.02/hour - Maximum$61.07/ will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
