JOB OVERVIEW:
The Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for providing total supply chain support to the product line team to maintain a healthy growing profitable business. The SCP will support planning activities while simultaneously assisting in process efficiencies and overall improvement to maximize customer satisfaction.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for all short-term supply planning activities and for collaborative support of long-term supply planning which includes (1.) analyzing sales orders and customer forecasted demand (2.) reviewing inventory levels (3.) translating the demand to a raw material and finish good supply plan (4.) initiating and monitoring production schedules (5.) and regularly communicating finished product lead times to the sales team.
- Plan for contingencies while monitoring customer forecast variability and general lead times across the supply chains to determine the impact on planning and customer service.
- Manage the daily execution of customer orders to ensure material is shipped on time and in full meeting all customer specification requirements which includes maintaining accurate availability dates and lead times for customer backorders.
- Manage inventory stock levels including excess obsolete aging quality held and allocated inventory to ensure adequate inventory is available to fulfill customer demand while minimizing inventory costs.
- Monitor track and report on inventory levels with emphasis on replenishment and fulfillment to ensure all inventory metrics are met.
- Accountable for highlighting inventory constraints and quality concerns to help identify possible solutions in support of appropriate inventory levels.
- Evaluate and monitor customer and supplier contracts including adherence to agreed upon floor stock levels.
- Analyze historical information and future demand projections to recognize variances and trends that impact the supply plan purchase orders and production decisions.
- Support cross-functional teams to improve processes and procedures to drive efficiencies (material movement production plan inventory raw material supply scheduling etc.)
- Assist in the uninterrupted flow of information by facilitating new item/BOM set up and reviewing existing item accuracy with the Master Data team.
JOB EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 2 years of Supply Chain/resource planning experience required.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Excel Word).
- Knowledge of demand management / forecasting is a plus!
- Results and detail orientated ability to multi-task and manage timelines in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer oriented and supportive excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated organized accurate adaptable and driven.
- Analytical strategic thinker with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Exceptional problem solving planning and prioritization skills.

EDUCATION:
- Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Operations Business Management or closely related field or equivalent work experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Sit and use a computer for a long period of time.
- Manual and physical dexterity needed to operate a computer keyboard and handle paper documents.
- Sufficient near vision acuity to read information appearing on computer display screen hand-written forms and printed on paper.
- Adequate hearing and verbal abilities to communicate effectively in person and by telephone.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Indoor office environment may on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels such as from office equipment
- Expected Pay Range: $55000/year-$65000/year exempt
- Bonus: This role may further qualify for supplemental compensation in the form of bonus and incentive programs contingent upon achieving pre-established individual and company performance metrics.
