Job Description
Hog Slat Inc. the worlds leading provider of parts equipment and turn-key construction to the swine & poultry industries is seeking aFeed Bin Delivery Driverfor ourDecatur IA location.
As aFeed Bin Delivery Driver your primary responsibilities will include loading transporting and delivering feed bins to designated farm is within a 200 mile radius with driver being home daily. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other functions may be assigned as business conditions change.
- Necessary to have some mechanical aptitude
- Use of basic hand tools is a must
- Ability to perform pre-trip inspection to ensure loads are secured correctly
- Ensure job site is safe to set up the bins while using wrench wire rope or cables
- Ensure all required wide load signage and flags are in place and visible
- Responsible for truck/trailer and all safety equipment being in proper working condition
- Be professional and courteous at all times
The ideal candidate will have the following experience/educational background:
- Must have a current/valid medical card or possess the ability to obtain one
- Must comply with all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Regulations
- Class A CDL is required
- Approved safe driving record
- Flexible to work in house when no deliveries are on schedule
- Minimum of 3 yrs experience is preferred
