Responsibilities: This person will be pivotal in identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities in the agronomy sector with a primary focus on Crop Protection (CP) Seed and Plant Foods. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agronomy business development and market analysis. All duties should be performed in accordance with company policy.
What Youll Do
- Identify and explore new market opportunities in the CP Seed and Plant Foods segments
- Establish relationships with independent retailers coops and other potential partners for distributing our products
- Coordinate direct shipments from vendors and utilize third-party transportation when necessary
- Investigate and set up consignment opportunities in various markets
- Seek partnership and wholesale opportunities with various brands in the Seed segment
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance and goal alignment especially in retail separation
- Explore and establish relationships for small seeds and MorBrands wholesale opportunities.
- Collaborate with transportation and logistics teams to optimize the delivery and distribution of fertilizers and other products.
- Develop and implement effective wholesale pricing strategies in collaboration with the Plant Foods department.

Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in an Agricultural field (preferred)
- Proven experience in agronomy business development or a related field.
