Job Description
This position s primary responsibility will be to help HCL with strategy definition value realization implementation and operations. The chosen candidate will play an important role in the development of skills best practices and provide value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree or equivalent required from an accredited institution.
At least 10 to 15 years of experience in Information Technology
At least 8 years of experience in Planning installing configuring supporting knowledge of UNIX/Linux systems running on Hybrid/Cloud DC environment
At least 2-3 years experience in managing team of experts having UNIX/LInux skills
Candidate must have Experience on 2 or more technologies (including relevant clustering technologies) from following: -
oLinux (RHEL SUSE UBUNTU etc)
oHPUX
oSolaris
oAIX
Work closely with other members of the IT team to identify and resolve issues related to availability or performance
Person should have a good knowledge on X86 hardware plateforms (CISCO/DELL/HPE) Rack and Blade Servers
Strong knowledge on core services like LDAP NTP NFS Storage and network.
Must have experience in planning and execute upgrades updates patching and migrations
Monitor infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and identify opportunities for improvement
Preferred Skills:
oPeople management Analytical and Communication skills
oStrong problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
oGood documentation skills
oSkilled in using Automation tools to automate day0 day1 and day2 tasks
oGood knowledge on ITSM/ITIL processes and data centre best practices.
oPlanning and Co-ordination skills
oExperience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel.

To be responsible for understanding customer requirements and create Solutions and integrated architecture. (4.) To stay updated about industry trends and technology innovations
