Job Description
Job Title: Sr OCI Cloud Services Architect (Hybrid)
Location: South Chesterfield VA
Duration: 12 Months
Job Description:
The position will work with customer agencies managed cloud suppliers as well as internal agency teams to ensure that architectures and environments provide efficient effective secure and compliant solutions based on best practices and well architected frameworks.
Assist with the design review and implementation of Oracle OCI services and solution offerings.
Required Skill and Experience:
- Documented experience with cloud architecture operations and management in a public cloud environment - specifically Oracles OCI.
- Experience performing reviews of proposed changes & projects relative to the security of an IT environment.
- At least 8 years of forward-thinking IT experience. 3 years of hands-on cloud technology experience (preferably with OCI). Excellent communication and presentation skills required.
Experience with implementing migrating or managing operating systems/applications in an enterprise cloud computing environment. College degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Knowledge able of cloud networking architectures utilizing virtual networks VPN Subnets network security groups. load balancers etc. - Thorough understanding of customer priorities and the business criticality of platforms applications and services. Cloud certifications preferred within the Oracle OCI cloud environment
