Work Arrangements: Due to the nature of the work and operational requirements this position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement (combination of working onsite and telework).Employees in this position who telework will be required to travel to the identified work site at least three times per week or a minimum of 60% of their regular work schedule at their own expense.

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to support our Security Branch. The Administrative Assistant would be someone who shares our core values of Integrity Excellence Respect and Creativity.
The Administrative Assistant provides general administrative support to the security screening team. Some of the duties of the position may include: providing guidance and support to individuals in regards to the Government of Canada Security Screening process coordinating with clients taking and submitting fingerprints to the RCMP preparing correspondence reports and presentations; establishing and maintaining filing and signing systems and responding to general enquiries. Other duties may include providing back-up to other administrative positions.
The Administrative Assistant is an integral part of the machinery that enables the NRC to do what we do!
This position will appeal to a person who is well organized and detail-oriented and who enjoys working as part of team to deliver excellent client service.

Secret Clearance
A thorough security clearance process will be applied.
For a Secret Clearance verification of background information over a period of 10 years is required. Individuals must have lived in Canada for a sufficient period of time to enable the security screening process.

In addition the incumbent will receive the Bilingualism Bonus of$800 per year.
