Summer High School Career Academy Teachers for Cyber Program - 2025 - (Grant Funded)

- Teaching License Digital Literacy and Computer Science preferred
- Citizenship residency or work visa required
Dates/Times:
- Support a five-day program during mornings in July. This is a part-time position.
- Program operational hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. July 14 - July 25 2025 AND Monday - Thursday 9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. July 28 - July 31
- Participate in a virtual orientation program on June 23 or 24 2025 from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m.
Background:
- Burlington High School is hosting a program for one section of 10-15 students with little or no computer science knowledge to learn about cybersecurity and careers. Instruction will take place in an air-conditioned Burlington High School classroom Monday - Thursday. On Fridays students will go to industry locations and during the last week students will be going to UMass Lowell. The teacher will be delivering curriculum from .
Description:
- Provide oversight and supervision and deliver cyber security curriculum to 25 high school students.
- Support all students by providing differentiated instruction as needed and ensure students academic social/emotional/behavioral needs are met.
- Assist with program evaluation upon completion of the program
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the Academy Director
