Job Description

Job Title: IT Administrator

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Environment: Office-based

Job Summary:

We are seeking a self-motivated independent IT Administrator to serve as the first line of support for all local employee technical issues. This role is ideal for someone who can work independently and enjoys wearing multiple hats across IT support systems administration and network troubleshooting. This is an in-office role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the initial point of contact for diagnosing and resolving hardware software peripheral and basic network issues.

  • Provide Level 1 technical support and assist with Level 2 issues as directed by the Systems Administrator.

  • Assist in administering Windows Servers and supporting Active Directory.

  • Support basic network administration including Cisco and HP network devices.

  • Track and manage helpdesk tickets keeping users updated through resolution.

  • Document all technical procedures updates and project progress.

  • Manage hardware inventory perform replacements and coordinate with vendors for equipment and supplies.

  • Review and fulfill requests for hardware/software installations and setups.

  • Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate personnel when necessary.

Additional Duties:

  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and project teams.

  • Assist in maintaining workflow and meeting department timelines.

  • Provide training and guidance to users of varying technical skill levels.

  • Stay up to date on new technologies and company policies.

Requirements:

  • 13 years of experience in IT support or related role.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows OS MS Office Suite and general IT hardware/software.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory and policy management.

  • Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.
