Your Role:
Reporting to the Head of Marketing the Social Media Manager will be part of the Group Marketing team to lead our social media strategy. In this role you will oversee all aspects of our social media presence develop innovative campaigns and drive measurable business results through strategic social media initiatives.
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with overall marketing and business objectives and strategic priorities
- Establish KPIs analyse performance data and optimize strategies to maximize ROI
- Oversee content creation and publishing across all social platforms ensuring brand consistency and engagement
- Direct paid social media campaigns including budget management and performance optimization
- Build and maintain relationships with influencers partners and industry thought leaders
- Identify emerging platforms tools and trends to maintain competitive advantage
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing sales product and creative teams
- Create social media performance reports and insights for executive leadership
- Develop and implement crisis management protocols for social channels
- Understand target audiences for each social channel create persuasive content that strikes a chord with Citcos audience and unique to the typical interactions of each channel
- Draft copy and designers to ensure content is informative appealing and accurate
- Oversee site metrics and creative design
- Understand SEO principles as they relate to social media and monitor SEO and engagement and suggest content optimization
- Moderate user-generated content in line with Citcos policy
- Capture and analyse the appropriate social data/metrics insights and social media best practices to measure the success of every social media campaign then use that information to refine future campaigns
- Monitor trends and adjust strategies to stay ahead of platform changes and industry developments
- Analyse performance metrics and provide regular reports on ROI and KPIs
QualificationsAbout You:
- At least 5 years of experience running a financial institutions social media platforms
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent) marketing communications or related field marketing or related area preferred.
- Strong understanding of social media analytics and reporting
- Experience with paid media campaigns
- Excellent communication and writing skills with a strong attention to detail
- Strong time and project management skills
- Creative thinker that can interact with senior spokespeople and internal teams to ensure that each campaign/post is effective and achieves the desired result
- Aims to exceed expectations of high-quality service delivery for every campaign
- Able to work collaboratively with senior stakeholders to deliver a high-quality level of work and meet desired goals/objectives
