The Boeing CompanyBoeings Learning and Development organization is currently seeking a Digital Ecosystem Operations Manager to join our team in Seattle WA Renton WA Everett WA Berkeley MO or Hazelwood MO.
This position is tasked with guiding a team focused on the creation execution and upkeep of digital learning solutions. It includes overseeing operational procedures guaranteeing exceptional learning experiences and promoting a culture of ongoing enhancement within the digital learning environment that aligns with Boeing Learning and Developments (L&D) vision: To drive Boeings growth by providing a skilled and engaged workforce.
The ideal candidate will possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills enabling them to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners. They will have a proven track record of influencing others without direct authority and will demonstrate strong decision-making abilities including negotiation and collaboration skills. Additionally they will be a creative thinker with experience in designing and implementing innovative solutions in digital learning and technology management.
Position Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage a team of digital learning technologists fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment and conduct regular performance evaluations while providing constructive feedback to enhance team development and effectiveness
Oversee the daily operations of digital learning platforms to ensure their effective and efficient functioning developing and implementing standard operating procedures for these solutions
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify learning needs and align digital solutions with organizational goals while also serving as the primary point of contact for inquiries related to digital learning operations
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital learning operations analyze operational data to identify trends and areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary to enhance operational efficiency
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in digital learning operations while staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance the digital learning ecosystem
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3 years of experience conducting a learning needs analysis developing a learning plan and applying the knowledge to establish learning material
3 years of experience in the Learning and Development profession
3 years of experience managing metrics to drive data driven solutions/decisions
3 years of experience leading the development design implementation and integration of global Learning Solutions (e.g. - Learning Management System Learning Content Management System or collaborative learning systems)
5 years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher
Experience leading in rapidly evolving environments with a strong understanding of trends in education AI and digital learning
Experience with LMS/LXP technology like MyLearning Workday Learn Degreed and enterprise IT systems (Microsoft Office 365)
Experience aligning technology strategies with organizational goals in professional services or educational settings
Experience in LMS implementation managing IT infrastructure ensuring security and optimizing system performance for global organizations
Experience proactively solving problems to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
