The Hanover Public Schools Office of Family & Community Engagement (FACE) is seeking a Before & After School Program Coordinator to support and manage the Cedar FACE Program. The Cedar FACE Program Coordinator is responsible for the daily operations of the program including enrollment health & safety communication student engagement curriculum business objectives and staff supervision. Program Coordinators also serve as part of the FACE Leadership Team and support the FACE Summer Enrichment and Recreation Programs as well as community events and other Operations * Oversee all aspects of program operations including student enrollment attendance curriculum implementation billing collections and compliance with health and safety regulations.* Promote and model positive behavior for students and staff that supports a safe nurturing and positive environment* Manage and streamline professional program communication with all stakeholders including families staff building administration and the FACE Leadership Team* Lead daily objectives including supervision student engagement behavior management and dismissal processes* Support problem solving and communication among students that encourages independence. * Foster and maintain positive professional relationships with students families colleagues and community partners* Support the professional growth and leadership development of program staff through mentoring coaching and collaborative planning* Uphold the values of the FACE organization in all program operations Leadership Responsibilities * Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with families parents/guardians school staff program vendors and district-wide administration * Attend and actively engage in professional development opportunities trainings and workshops to strengthen program leadership and instructional practices* Promote staff leadership development by identifying and nurturing individuals with potential for growth and advancement* Ensure the program operates in full compliance with best practices including safety procedures and district policies; proactively manage risk and respond effectively to emergenciesCandidate Requirements* Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills* Exercise sound judgement in decision making * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally* Demonstrates exemplary customer service through active engagement with students and families * Ability to multitask problem-solve and work collaboratively with a team * Adaptable to the changing needs of the programs* Plan manage and lead small and large group activities * Participation in required medical trainings (CPR First Aid & EpiPen) as well as 20 hours of professional development* Minimum of 23 years of experience working with school-aged children in an educational or out-of-school time setting* At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience in a child-focused program preferred
