Job Description

HHEF Communications & Administrative Coordinator

Background

The Hatboro-Horsham Educational Foundation (HHEF) a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization partners with the community businesses and the Hatboro-Horsham School District (HHSD) to provide inspiring programs and innovative learning grants to enhance the educational experience of all district students. The Foundations part-time paid staff (Executive Director and Communications & Administrative Coordinator) and volunteers work with administration faculty staff and students to design and implement programs enhancing the HHSD curriculum and our students lives.

Description

The Communications & Administrative Coordinator (CAC) position is a part-time position reporting to the Executive Director. The role includes a diverse group of responsibilities including communications and marketing clerical responsibilities database management social media coordination and event support. The CAC will work closely with the HHEF Board of Directors HHSD staff and volunteers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide support with clerical and administrative tasks including basic accounting bookkeeping data entry audit preparation preparing meeting materials maintaining mailing lists and filing
  • Maintain HHEF website content
  • Support dissemination of information through social media and other digital and email marketing tools
  • Design and develop collateral materials including event posters programs and promotional content
  • Produce a monthly newsletter during the school year
  • Maintain databases for HHEF contacts (Constant Contact and DonorPerfect)
  • Oversee HHEF giving campaigns and related correspondence
  • Attend committee meetings and monthly Board of Directors meetings as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Key experience and qualifications:

  • Proficiency with tools for creating flyers digital graphics and websites
  • Experience with advanced Excel / Google Sheets preferred
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Hatboro-Horsham schools and community is a plus
