Job Description
- Paint maintain and repair painted wall-covered stained and varnished surfaces of building structures rooms furniture and equipment throughout the hotel and facilities
- Prepare and paint surfaces using techniques and tools including but not limited to measuring surfaces mixing paint matching paint and using brushes rollers and spray-guns
- Repair Gyprock walls and ceilings
- Maintain and repair caulked grouted wood and masonry surfaces requiring staining varnishing and lacquering.
- Plan and prioritise jobs to ensure deadlines are met
- Carry out maintenance requirements and follow up as scheduled by the Hotels Property Management System (PMS)
Qualifications :
- Effectively time manage large volume work load to meet deadlines and work well under pressure situations
- Strong organizational and communication skills as well as attention to detail
- A great team player who proactively looks to assist where possible
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experienced painter (minimum 2 years desired)
