Position Information:
This position supports the operations of the schools main office and provides assistance to the Office Manager and Building Administrator(s). The Secretary enters student attendance and registration records in the Skyward system and maintains manual files; monitors the student health room; answers telephone calls; greets all office visitors; provides support services for students parents staff and the public.
Shift Details:7.5 hours a day; 190 day calendar
Continuing Position:Employees have reasonable assurance of continued employment to the following school year. However an employees total work hours work locations and the designated beginning and ending times may vary.
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Hourly Rate: $33.16 (hourly) (Based on the 2024-2025 Office Personnel Salary Schedule)

Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- 18 years of age and hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
and one of the following: - Hold a post-secondary or advanced degree; or
- Earned a minimum of ten (10) relevant college credits; or
- Have three (3) years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to quickly learn the use and application of student information system software. Previous experience in a position requiring public contact and interaction with racially ethnically and linguistically diverse communities.
