Medicine Role Player Administrator Medicine interviews June 2025 and 2026 Cycle

Start Date:22/04/25
End Date: 31/07/2026
Working Hours:Varies between 8.00 am to 5.30 pm
Pay Rate: 13.98 per hour plus holiday pay
Location: Online
Dress Code:Smart Casual

Role description-Our Role Player Administrator position is one which requires coordination of the virtual interview held on MS Teams

Summary: Participate fully in a role that requires multi-tasking concentration excellent communication and focus. You must be highly responsible and have the ability to take the lead throughout the virtual interview process. Your key responsibilities are to ensure that each interview runs smoothly to time and follows the same designated structure as well as participating in interview role play scenarios. Your role is to ensure that each applicant is treated equally and fairly in each and every case.

Your personal responsibilities

Prior to the interview day

  • Attend the training session and respond quickly to any administration email requests
  • Only commit to work the interview days you are confident you are able to work
  • Provide at least 72 hours notice of not being able to fulfil your role responsibilities on the interview day.
  • Have completed all the online training packages provided by the School of Medicine
  • Fully test your equipment MS Teams account and internet coverage to ensure that all will work efficiently for the day ahead
  • Have read and fully understood the interview script and candidate interview briefing sheet
  • Have access to a room where you will be alone for the full day and where you will not be disturbed/interrupted for the duration of the interviews
  • Have signed a confidentiality agreement form

On the interview day

  • Register your attendance each morning
  • Read and follow the virtual interview script word for word
  • Take overall lead of your virtual interview room and direct each pair of interviewers accordingly reporting any issues via your Circuit Supervisor.
  • Attend briefing/feedback sessions held throughout the day
  • Complete and submit an interview completion log immediately after each applicant interview has concluded.

Training and support for your role

  • All of our Student Ambassadors will have to have completed both Equality & Diversity and Unconscious Bias training within the last 3 years and GDPR and Safeguarding training within the last year to be able to assist at this recruitment cycles interviews. You will receive a separate email with details of this programme of training once you are selected for the role.
  • If you are going to be a role player you will also attend a training session duration 2 hours run by our Director of Admissions at a date to be advised.
  • If you are also helping in a briefing or support room you will attend a briefing meeting where you will be given guidance and early access to the information we are able to share with our candidates.

If you are not able to fulfil these training requirements we will be unable to use you for any of our live Medicine interview events.
