As the Communications Advisor you will work as part of the University Communications Student Experience team to deliver best practice communications to students and staff.
Under the direction of the Communications Manager you will partner with stakeholders across the University to build cross-functional relationships deliver strategic communications advice and develop and deliver integrated communications plans that achieve objectives.
Youre a digital communications native with experience creating and disseminating accurate and engaging communications and content across web email and social media platforms. Youll also work closely with specialist teams within University Communications.
Youll measure the success of communications through regular reporting and data analysis contributing to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
This role supports the Communications Manager and other communications team members to ensure that all communications are accurate strategically-aligned and effectively implemented.
To be successful in this position you will have:
Experience supporting the planning production and delivery of communications activities and developing and implementing communications plans.
Strong writing and editing skills and experience writing for multiple audiences and channels.
Experience working with multiple communications platforms for web email and social media.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster positive working relationships with team and stakeholders of various levels.
An undergraduate degree in communications PR or similar.
Please Note: Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children and National Police Check.
