Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day site operations installations and contractor activities.
- Monitor workforce performance adherence to safety protocols and quality of work.
- Coordinate materials tools and equipment on-site.
- Conduct toolbox talks and enforce mine health and safety standards.
- Liaise with engineers project teams and subcontractors to resolve site issues.
- Report on progress delays and incidents to the Site Manager.
- Ensure compliance with project plans installation guidelines and schedules.
Minimum Requirements
- Trade qualification is essential.
- Minimum of 3 5 years experience in a supervisory or team lead role within a mining or heavy industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of mine safety and site operations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams and deliver against tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver s license and willingness to work on-site in Thabazimbi for the full project duration.
