In this position you will be responsible for reviewing scopes of work work plans change orders and subcontract bids and agreements to ensure compliance with contract requirements and alignment with project objectives. You will have the authority to approve and issue work assignments project work plans notices to proceed change orders and the selection of subcontractors. You may be expected to plan and manage site investigations and conduct visits to locations where hazardous substances and contaminants have been released as well as develop project scopes of work review contractor submittals process invoices and monitor the effectiveness of contractor performance and the oversight provided by Field Operations on these critical projects. Furthermore your role will involve engaging in the procurement of new contracts which includes drafting Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Invitations for Bids (IFBs) assessing submitted proposals and bids and negotiating the terms of contracts to ensure favorable outcomes. Additionally you will play a key role in developing and facilitating training sessions aimed at educating both Department staff and contractor personnel on the established contract guidelines.
