Talon Recruiting has partnered with a national distributor of truck mounted equipmentin search of a bilingual Outside Sales Representative to join their growing team in Montreal QC.

As the Outside Sales Rep you must strive to maintain current customer relationships while constantly securing new customers with the understanding that growth and development of the assigned territory is a major goal. The Outside Sales Rep must have the ability to become knowledgeable of the assigned territory including;

  • All identified equipment product lines including but not limited to landscape/service bodies flat decks roll-offs tool boxes hook lifts cranes etc...
  • Understanding the marketplace and potential for each product along with complementary product lines such as hydraulics snow control driveline etc.

Other responsibilities include contacting new and existing customers to discuss their needs and to explain how these needs could be met by specific products and services; emphasizing product features based on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations; negotiating prices and terms of sales and service agreements; and preparing sales contracts.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of relevant experience in the truck equipment market preferred (or equivalent combination of training education and experience)
  • A valid drivers license
  • Truck Equipment Industry and Hydraulics knowledge an asset
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
  • Demonstrated time-management / organizational skills within a fast-paced environment
  • Detail oriented with excellent problem solving skills
  • Computer literate with proficiency using basic programs such as Windows and Outlook

En tant que reprsentant des ventes externe vous devrez vous efforcer dentretenir les relations avec les clients actuels tout en en acqurant constamment de nouveaux en sachant que la croissance et le dveloppement du territoire assign constituent un objectif majeur. Le reprsentant des ventes externe doit possder une connaissance approfondie du territoire assign notamment:

Toutes les gammes dquipement identifies y compris mais sans sy limiter les carrosseries damnagement paysager et de service les plateformes les remorques benne basculante les coffres outils les lvateurs crochet les grues etc.

Comprendre le march et le potentiel de chaque produit ainsi que les gammes de produits complmentaires comme les systmes hydrauliques le dneigement la transmission etc.

Vos autres responsabilits incluent la prise de contact avec les clients nouveaux et existants afin de discuter de leurs besoins et dexpliquer comment des produits et services spcifiques pourraient y rpondre; la mise en avant des caractristiques des produits en fonction de vos connaissances techniques de leurs capacits et de leurs limites; la ngociation des prix et des conditions des contrats de vente et de service; et la prparation des contrats de vente.

Qualifications:

Au moins 3ans dexprience pertinente dans le secteur des quipements pour camions de prfrence (ou une combinaison quivalente de formation dtudes et dexprience).
Permis de conduire valide.
Connaissances en quipements pour camions en industrie et en hydraulique un atout.
Capacit tablir et entretenir des relations durables avec les clients.
Sens de lorganisation et gestion du temps avrs dans un environnement dynamique.
Souci du dtail et excellentes comptences en rsolution de problmes.
Matrise de linformatique et matrise des logiciels de base tels que Windows et Outlook.
