Position Summary
As a PMHNP you will provide integrated care conducting psychiatric assessments creating individualized treatment plans and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. You will also incorporate innovative therapies and support patients through social prescribing and community partnerships.
Responsibilities
Clinical Care:
- Conduct evidence-based psychiatric assessments and diagnoses
- Develop and implement treatment plans including medication management and psychotherapy
- Administer TMS and Spravato
Patient Engagement:
- Build therapeutic relationships with patients and their families
- Educate patients about mental health conditions treatments and lifestyle changes
- Connect patients with resources through social prescribing
Collaboration:
- Work with a multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated care
- Participate in team meetings case reviews and leadership opportunities
Professional Growth:
- Stay updated on psychiatric advancements and expand your expertise
- Pursue certifications and leadership opportunities to enhance your career
Qualifications
- Education: Masters or Doctoral degree from an accredited PMHNP program
- License & Certification: Active Colorado NP license PMHNP-BC certification DEA registration
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a psychiatric setting EHR proficiency (Athena experience preferred)
