The Office of the Registrar at James Madison University is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the office as a Coordinator of Special Population Transitions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Coordinate the receipt and review of transcripts for admitted special populations such as Student Athletes Adult Degree Military RN to BSN and international students.
- Review course descriptions and consults with academic departments to assign credit to a JMU equivalent course.
- Counsel prospective students and advisors on transfer policies.
-Post evaluated credit to a matriculated students official record using the student administration system.
-Coordinate transfer credit requests for continuing special population students.
- Assist in updating the Transfer Credit Equivalency Guide using TES (Transfer Evaluation System).

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
Ability to handle and prioritize a large volume of work.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of student record.
Ability to work independently but seek advice and direction from supervisor as needed.
Ability to serve constituents in personable and efficient manner.

Additional Considerations:
Knowledge of university and office policies and procedures.
Knowledge of functionality of student administration system
Knowledge/understanding of system setup as related to work tasks.
