Were looking for a Control Management Advisor to join our Business Risk Partner team. In this role youll help deliver the Insurance Control Testing Program working to identify and prevent risks while supporting compliance with regulatory requirements.

Youll partner with teams across Technology & Operations (T&O) to strengthen risk management practices and improve control maturity. As a trusted advisor youll guide the business in managing key operational risks and building a strong risk culture.

What youll do

  • Support the Risk Program of Work in line with Group policies promoting a strong risk culture and improved control maturity
  • Train and support leaders to understand risk responsibilities and meet Risk Scorecard targets
  • Design test and recommend cost-effective control strategies ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
  • Lead control testing document outcomes in IRIIS and assist with remediation for your business unit
  • Provide expert advice on control development during risk profiling and change initiatives
  • Share insights to build capability and consistency across the risk team
  • Partner with compliance and regulatory experts to support high-quality risk practices
  • Monitor and improve control effectiveness using group frameworks and tools
  • Build a high-performing collaborative team culture focused on simplicity and strong execution

What youll bring

  • Relevant degree in Business Law or related field (desired)
  • Qualifications relevant to Insurance and Cyber Risk (desired)
  • Qualifications relevant to Risk and Controls Assurance or Internal Audit (desired)
  • ISO 31000: Risk Management training (desired)Minimum three (3) years appropriate industry experience in Insurance or Financial Services
  • Minimum two (2) year experience within Risk related business area(s) (desired)
