At Bottesford Infant School we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pastoral Leader to join our team.
This is a vital role within our school supporting pupils and families to ensure our children thrive.
We are looking for someone who can:
- provide one to one support for children with social emotional or behavioural barriers to learning.
- communicate well with parents/carers offering advice and support.
- signpost families to services and external agencies (including completing referrals)
- provide small group support to deliver targeted interventions.
- lead the Early Help Assessment (EHA) process.
- support with attendance and punctuality.
- liaise with the SENCo and external support agencies.
- undertake home visits as required and attend meetings in family homes.
- act as Deputy DSL contributing to the development and monitoring of safeguarding policies practices and procedures.
- attend meetings for children who have safeguarding plans (Child in Need / Child Protection Plans)
- possess the ability to work flexibly and on their own initiative.
