Job Description
Were looking for a motivated Senior Robotics Software Engineer (m/f/d) with a strong background in mobile robotics and embedded software development to join our team in building exciting robotics systems. Tasks
- Developing ROS 2 applications for control and navigation
- Porting Jetson Linux to custom hardware
- Sensor integration and ROS 2 driver development
- Refining and optimizing control algorithms for our unmanned vessels
- Testing and evaluating software on our robotic test platforms
- Troubleshooting issues during lab and field tests
- Developing embedded C software
Requirements
- Over 3 years of hands-on experience in robotics software development
- Bachelors or Masters in CS Mechatronics Robotics or related fields
- Proficiency in C/C and Python
- Hands-on experience with ROS/ROS 2
- Experience with Embedded Linux and Device Driver development
- Deep understanding of robotic systems architecture including sensors actuators embedded computing platforms and real-time system constraints
- Experience with Nvidia Jetson Hardware and JetPack is advantageous
- Experience with Micro-ROS is advantageous
- Ability to work proactively and independently with a structured approach
- Good documentation and communication skills in English
- A strong portfolio of personal projects is highly regarded
