Job Description
MANDATORY/MUST HAVE
PRIMARY SKILL: Juniper Switches routers Juniper SRX firewalls F5 Load balancer and team lead experience.
CERTIFICATION: ITIL CCNP ENSLD JNCIP JNCIE CCNP-R&S CCIE-R&S.
Engineer must be willing to work in 24X7 rotational shifts (including US nights weekends on call)
Communication skills:
- Must have excellent communication skills including written verbal and presentation
Working Experience:
- 12-16 years of Network support experience in a mid to large sized organization.
Certifications
- Two or more of the following certifications or higher strongly preferred: JNCIP JNCIE CCNP-R&S CCIE-R&S.
- ITIL Certification
Responsibilities / Technical skills:
- Provide hands on support switching and routing in CiscoJuniper Routers Switches and Juniper Platform and Firewall.
- Primary Skills : Experienced in hardware and infrastructure Juniper Switches routers Juniper SRX firewalls F5 load balancer etc.
- Secondary and Desirable Skills : Junos Space.
- Experienced in network operational support projects and migrations experience in the enterprise network.
- Experience in IP routing protocols (ISIS OSPF and BGP) configuration and troubleshooting on large Enterprise network.
- Analyze network and prepare documentations diagrams.
- Troubleshooting Network operational issues reported from Customer environment and ensure Incident resolution / Break Fix Upgrades.
- Experience in HSRP NAT GLBP IP SLA configuration and troubleshooting in an enterprise network.
- Understanding of Network tools Wireshark Network Observer Net flow Analyzer MRTG etc.
- Use the tools provided to assist with diagnosis of incidents and to proactively assist others with diagnostics.
- Perform routine maintenance activities and deploy scheduled changes based on documented procedures.
- Experience in Network Operations and Projects.
