Job Description
Overview: The PRT SST Teacher plays a pivotal role in shaping the educational experiences of young learners. This teachers responsibilities include fostering a safe learning environment delivering engaging social science lessons and promoting critical thinking about cultural and societal issues. The PRT SST Teacher is essential in helping students understand their place in the world while developing empathy and a sense of responsibility towards others. As part of a collaborative team in a vibrant educational setting the PRT SST Teacher works closely with fellow educators parents and the community to enhance the educational landscape. This role requires creativity dedication and skill in adapting lessons to meet the diverse needs of students ensuring that each child is encouraged to explore and express their understanding of the social world around them. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for social science topics.
- Facilitate a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assess and evaluate students progress and understanding.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
- Incorporate technology and multimedia tools in lessons.
- Encourage critical thinking and discussion among students.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Education or relevant field.
- Additional certification in Social Science preferred.
- Experience in teaching at the primary level.
- Strong understanding of child development principles.
- Proficient in using educational technologies.
- Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated passion for teaching and fostering student growth.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Understanding of diverse learning needs and backgrounds.
