Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment that encourages students to develop their mathematical skills and critical thinking abilities. This role involves teaching various mathematical concepts from basic arithmetic to advanced geometry while integrating real-world applications to enhance student - Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.- Teach mathematics topics including but not limited to 6th grade math algebra and geometry.- Utilize classroom management techniques to maintain a productive learning atmosphere.- Assess student performance through assignments tests and projects providing constructive feedback to support their growth.- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the mathematics curriculum and participate in school-wide initiatives.- Provide additional support through tutoring sessions for students needing extra assistance.- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational best practices and advancements in mathematics - A B.A. in Mathematics or Education; advanced degrees are a plus.- Experience teaching mathematics in a classroom setting.
