Description

Job Summary: Entry-level position where the candidate will gain the foundational skills needed in employee benefits and insurance to advance client strategies and fulfill objectives of the Financial Team & Employee Benefits Department.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to a wide variety of projects involving design financing delivery ongoing management and communication of health and group benefit programs for Employee Benefits clients.
  • Coordinates reporting workflow project management & project communication.
  • Completes basic monthly financial reporting mostly independently and more complex deliverables and projects with oversight.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in business risk management math or relevant work or internship experience required
  • 0-1 years of experience required
  • Competence in Microsoft Office Suite with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables xlookup etc.) required. Experience with macros preferred but not required.
  • Power BI (or similar) data visualization experience preferred.
  • Effective communication skills in both verbal and written form.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills required.
  • Ability to efficiently handle multiple simultaneous and complex tasks and projects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Well organized and detail oriented.
  • Team player who takes initiative demonstrates resourcefulness and is self-motivated to continuous learning and development.
  • Strong financial and client service orientation.
  • Highly organized with the ability to implement process improvements.
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
