Description
Job Summary: Entry-level position where the candidate will gain the foundational skills needed in employee benefits and insurance to advance client strategies and fulfill objectives of the Financial Team & Employee Benefits Department.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Contributes to a wide variety of projects involving design financing delivery ongoing management and communication of health and group benefit programs for Employee Benefits clients.
- Coordinates reporting workflow project management & project communication.
- Completes basic monthly financial reporting mostly independently and more complex deliverables and projects with oversight.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in business risk management math or relevant work or internship experience required
- 0-1 years of experience required
- Competence in Microsoft Office Suite with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables xlookup etc.) required. Experience with macros preferred but not required.
- Power BI (or similar) data visualization experience preferred.
- Effective communication skills in both verbal and written form.
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills required.
- Ability to efficiently handle multiple simultaneous and complex tasks and projects.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Well organized and detail oriented.
- Team player who takes initiative demonstrates resourcefulness and is self-motivated to continuous learning and development.
- Strong financial and client service orientation.
- Highly organized with the ability to implement process improvements.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
