Job Description

We re looking for an Employee Relations Manager for our public sector client based in Kingston upon Thames on an initial 3-month contract paying up to 355 per day Inside IR35.


This role involves hybrid working with a requirement to attend the office 2 3 days per week. Onsite presence is essential to support formal HR processes and hearings.


You ll be joining a collaborative HR and OD team providing expert guidance on a wide range of employee relations matters. You ll advise on complex cases help shape fair outcomes and contribute to the development of people-focused policies and best practice approaches.


The successful Employee Relations Manager will demonstrate:


  • Strong experience managing complex ER casework in the public sector
  • Knowledge of TUPE restructuring and organisational change
  • Confidence in coaching managers through sensitive situations
  • Clear understanding of employment law and policy development
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build stakeholder trust
  • A proactive approach to fostering positive workplace culture
