Job Description
Working alongside the Director of Sales and Marketing you will be responsible for:
- Managing the top accounts for corporate wholesale inbound retail travel agent and MICE sectors.
- Supported by a close-knit team you will work with the Director of Sales and Marketing to assist in developing a strategic approach to ensure the acquisition of major business and partnership opportunities to achieve total hotel revenue targets.
- You will be responsible for managing proactive sales and will work closely with the Conference and Event Sales team to drive conferencing business for both the Hotel and Pumphouse Sydney.
- You will be required to stay up to date with key market information and trends and use this to leverage current and new business.
- In addition to managing the Hotels key accounts you will also be expected to develop low-producing accounts to ideally convert them into key accounts for the Hotel.
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role you will have
- Demonstrated sales in experience in a hotel environment.
- You will have the natural ability to source develop and manage new business leads.
- You will have strong communication skills both verbally and written and will be a naturally ambitious leader who is always seeking the next business opportunity.
- You will have an obvious passion for forming ongoing relationships and delivering unforgettable guest experiences.
- Experience and knowledge of Opera and Delphi will be highly regarded.
