We are seeking a Genetic Counselor Medical Geneticsto:
- Join a large team of genetic counselors medical geneticists and advanced practice providers to provide care in a highly collaborative medical genetics environment
- Provide clinical genetic counseling services and general case coordination to patients and families seen at University Hospital and other clinical affiliates across UW Health.
- Clinical settings include medical genetics outpatient clinic and inpatient environment
- Assist in the training and supervision of genetic counseling students in the Master of Genetic Counselor Studies training program.

Education:
Minimum Masters degree in Genetic Counseling from a college or university program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Genetic Counseling or the American Board of Genetic Counseling or a Masters degree in clinical or medical genetics prior to the establishment of the ACGC or ABGC
Work Experience:
PreferredTwo or more years experience in clinical genetic counseling; experience in domain-specific area
Certifications:
Minimum Eligibility for certification by the American Board of Genetic Counseling.
PreferredCertification by the American Board of Genetic Counseling.
