Job Description
Job Site: Head Start (Darrough Chapel ELC)
Hours/Days: up to 6.5 hours per day186 days
Hourly Rate: $12.28 per hour
Benefits: Group insurance programs PERF paid leave days
Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing coverage and monitoring groups of Head Start students on the bus in the cafeteria and in classrooms as needed. Willing to learn and follow Head Start performance standards and state early childhood licensing requirements. Ride bus daily to assist bus driver in supervision of children during bus routes to and from school. Monitor Head Start students to ensure they follow bus safety rules. Assist children in to and out of child safety restraints. Participate in annual program self-assessment. Attend Head Start mandatory trainings. This position is needed to maintain state and federal adult/child ratios.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director.
- Mandatory FBI fingerprinting background check and other HS requirements.
