About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Legal Policy Officer for a 12-month non-ongoing basis. This role involves interpreting and administering legislation providing specialised advice on complex policy issues and contributing to strategic initiatives within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
The Successful Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess:
- strong written and verbal communication skills and stakeholder management skills
- experience or an ability to learn how to interpret and administer legislation
- strategic awareness and problem-solving skills and the ability to work in fast-paced environments
- an ability to build and sustain positive and productive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
- an ability to undertake analysis and research to provide specialised advice on complex policy issue.

Location: Canberra.
Contract term: 12 months non ongoing
Security Requirements: Baseline or above
