Job Description

Are you someone who enjoys being hands-on staying organised and making sure things run smoothly behind the scenes The Northern Land Council (NLC) is looking for a committed and energetic Logistics and Customer Service Officer to join our Regional Development team and play a vital role in delivering services to our constituents across the region.

About the Role

This is a varied and people-focused role where no two days are the same. Youll support the delivery of community meetings consultations and other events by coordinating logistics ensuring venues are prepared and well-equipped managing transport for constituents and keeping everything running like clockwork. Youll also oversee and support Logistics and Customer Service Assistants where needed and help ensure all assetsvehicles trailers equipmentare well-maintained and fit for use.

What you will Bring

Youre someone who thrives in practical people-oriented roles. Youll bring strong communication skills a proactive attitude and the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once. Experience in logistics customer service or event support is a plus and a commitment to respectful engagement with Aboriginal people will be ideal for the role.

In addition to this you will have: -

  • Minimum of one (1) year experience working in a similar role with demonstrated exposure to working in remote locations and challenging environment
  • Experience in the provision of on the job coaching / training in a workplace
  • A current NT C Class drivers licence. Experience in driving 4WD vehicles is an added advantage
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate

  • A base salary of $73978 per annum plus 14.5% superannuation and salary sacrificing up to $15900 meal entertainment and holiday accommodation benefits up to $2650 per year.
  • Other benefits under our Enterprise Agreement include:
    • District allowance of up to $4797 per annum for individuals with dependents and $2630 without dependents.
    • 5 weeks annual leave leaving loading 18 days personal leave;
    • Paid Christmas close down;
    • Upon completion of 12 months of service an Annual airfare with a net (in hand) value of $2961
