Program Support Officer
Max-Term Part-Time opportunity till 30 June 2026
Fixed hours Mondays to Fridays 6 hours per day (60 hours per fortnight)
Located in the northern suburbs of Banksia Grove
About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Program Support Officer to join the team at our Child and Parent Centre (CPC) at Banksia Grove. The successful candidate is to assist in facilitating a range of early childhood and family focussed initiatives to be delivered at and through the Child and Parent Centre.
Duties
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Under the direction of the Coordinator coordinate the day-to-day operations of the CPC
Maintain a welcoming and safe culture and environment for families young children and other service providers at the CPC
To represent Ngala at a community level with other providers
Provide office support
About You
The successful candidate will be highly organised and have strong communication skills together with the following:
Experience working within a community setting (family services local government community sector)
Intermediate level IT and Administration competency.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment using initiative innovation creativity and flexibility.
Effective communication interpersonal and relationship building skills.
The successful candidate will need to hold a current WA drivers licence Working with Children Check National Criminal History Check and satisfactory National Police Clearance obtained within the last six months.

While immunisations are highly encouraged they are not mandatory. This information will help us assess and implement appropriate safety measures for everyone.
