Job Description

Job Title: Supervising Attorney Personal Injury / Civil Litigation
Location: Dallas TX (Hybrid)
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Practice Areas: Insurance Defense Civil Litigation
Reports To: Managing Partner

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Supervising Attorney to lead and manage our Personal Injury and Civil Litigation team in Dallas Texas. This role is ideal for an attorney who excels at overseeing legal teams ensuring high-quality representation and driving favorable case outcomes. The Supervising Attorney will manage complex litigation mentor associates and contribute to firm growth and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage a team of attorneys and legal staff handling personal injury and civil litigation matters

  • Guide legal strategy and case development across a diverse caseload from intake through trial or resolution

  • Review and approve pleadings motions discovery and settlement documents

  • Provide direct oversight and guidance on depositions hearings mediations and trials

  • Monitor case progress litigation milestones and team productivity to ensure timeliness and excellence

  • Conduct regular case reviews and performance evaluations for assigned attorneys and staff

  • Serve as the primary liaison for high-value or complex matters with clients experts opposing counsel and court personnel

  • Ensure compliance with firm policies ethical standards and applicable Texas laws

  • Collaborate with firm leadership on process improvement training and professional development initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

  • Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas

  • 6 years of litigation experience with a focus on personal injury and civil litigation

  • Proven leadership and team management experience

  • Extensive courtroom deposition and mediation experience

  • Strong organizational strategic and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and mentor attorneys in a fast-paced legal environment

Preferred Skills:

  • First-chair trial experience strongly preferred

  • Experience with practice management software (e.g. Clio Litify or Needles)

  • Demonstrated ability to train and develop junior legal talent
