Job Description
Job Title: Interventional Radiology Medical Assistant
Location: Murray Utah
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / PRN
Job Summary:
The Medical Assistant in Interventional Radiology supports clinical staff in providing high-quality safe and efficient care. This role assists with patient intake equipment prep and non-invasive patient care tasks ensuring smooth workflow in the IR suite.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet prepare and transport patients to and from the IR suite.
Assist with pre-procedure vitals and documentation.
Set up rooms with necessary supplies and assist with restocking.
Help position and prep patients under RN supervision.
Clean and turn over procedure rooms between cases.
Act as a runner to retrieve supplies or communicate with other departments.
Observe for patient needs and report concerns to licensed staff.
Maintain confidentiality and infection control standards.
Qualifications:
Medical Assistant diploma or certification required (CMA or RMA preferred)
BLS certification
Previous hospital or radiology department experience preferred
Strong communication and multitasking skills

The salary range listed is the base salary range offered for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors including but not limited to work experience education and/or skill level.
