Description
Position Summary
To assist the Head/Assistant Womens Soccer Coach in all facets of the program with the emphasis on leading the reserve team.
Adhere to NCAA Division II rules and regulations.
Work is performed under the general supervision of the Head Coach.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Assists the head/assistant coach operate and coachthe first team and reserve team at practices games and administrative tasks.
- Assists in the coordination of travel arrangements and meals for road trips.
- Assists in the planning of visits travel arrangements and communication with recruiting.
- Practice setup/teardown planning and execution.
- Game day operation and tasks.
- Filming/making video clips as needed.
- Assists in the operation of Walsh Womens Soccer sponsored ID Camps
- Laundry uniform inventory and collection at the end of season.
- Assists in managing all Walsh Womens Soccer social media accounts.
- Assists in completion and processing of paperwork as requested.
- Works cooperatively with personnel in the athletic department attends department meetings and activities if needed and always represents the University in a positive manner when interacting with the community alumni coaches the media and the general public.
- Responsible for abiding by NCAA II compliance rules and legislation as well as educating student-athletes about those rules.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Head/Assistant Coach and/or the Vice President/Director of Athletics.
- Failure to comply by NCAA II rules will be grounds for discipline and/or termination.
- Other duties as assigned or required.

Required Qualifications (Knowledge Skills and Abilities)
Must understand and support the Mission Vision and Code of Ethical Conduct of Walsh University as a Catholic higher education university as expressed in Ex Corde Ecclesiae and possess the following:
Education:
Bachelors degree required as well as acceptance into a Walsh University Graduate Program.
Work Experience:
At least 3 years experience in the sport of Womens Soccer including playing and/or coaching. Other significant experience relative to coaching and/or the administration of an intercollegiate athletics program can be considered.
Skills and abilities:
- Professional demeanor and ability to interact with charity towards students staff and faculty. Positive attitude a must.
