Additional Assistant

We seek passionate and caring individuals to join our inclusive kindergarten teams.

In this role youll make a real difference by supporting children from the ages of 3 to 5 years of age including those with a disability so every child feels safe included and supported to grow.

About the role

As an Additional Assistant youll:

• Work as part of a kindergarten team under the guidance of the Lead Educator.
• Support children in their learning play and daily activities tailored to their individual needs.
• Provide physical assistance (e.g. mealtimes toileting mobility support) with care and respect.
• Build positive relationships with children families and colleagues.
• Help create an inclusive environment where every child is valued.
• Attend team meetings and contribute to planning and communication.

This is a casual role perfect for those who are looking to gain more experience in the education sector by growing their skills and making a meaningful impact.

About you

You are someone who genuinely cares about children and their inclusion. You bring patience empathy and enthusiasm to everything you do.

To succeed youll ideally have:

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (preferred but not essential).
• Experience working with children in educational or care settings (highly desirable).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• The ability to meet the physical requirements of the role.
• A commitment to upholding childrens rights safety and wellbeing.

Requirements

• Cleared NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Current Working with Children Check (Employee).
• Completion of the NDIS Workers Orientation Module.
• Australian working rights.
• Drivers licence (if required for travel between sites).
