CAHSS/Moray House School of Education and Sport/Childlight Global Child Safety Institute
Full-time: 35 hours per week
Fixed term: to 30 April 2027
Childlight a ground-breaking global child safety institute has been established and embedded within the University of Edinburgh to take a data driven evidence-based approach to better understand the prevalence and nature of child sexual exploitation and abuse globally. This data and analysis will be used by policy makers and practitioners across the world to make better informed decisions to safeguard children adopting a public health prevention model.
The Opportunity:
Childlight is seeking a Communications Manager responsible for enhancing and building its reputation and influence with external audiences. The role requires balancing responses to media enquiries on key issues affecting Childlight alongside the proactive promotion of Childlight research and activities including through extensive stakeholder engagement and delivering effective internal communications.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week) fixed-term until 30 April 2027. However we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
