Hennepin County District Court is accepting applications to fill a Court Operations Leadworker I position in the Criminal Traffic Violations Bureau. This position offers an opportunity to work in a diverse professional environment that promotes equity and inclusion for all court staff and court customers. Court Operations Leadworkers perform highly advanced detail-oriented technical work while delivering excellent customer service in person electronically and by phone. This position requires exceptional interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working with justice partners court staff attorneys judges and members of the public. Responsibilities include assisting the public and agency representatives by providing accurate information and clear explanations of court rules and procedures.
The Violations Bureau involves high-volume customer contact at the public counter including completing financial transactions such as daily balancing reconciling deposits and assessing fees and fines. Work includes all aspects of citation processing payments advanced criminal case processing scheduling and performing clerical tasks within well-established standardized data entry methods and procedures.

The Violations Bureau is located on the Public Service Level of the Hennepin County Government Center in downtown Minneapolis at 300 South 6th Street C-SK-0871. The standard hours for this position are 8:00 a.m.- 4:30p.m. Monday-Friday; however hours may vary depending on division needs.
Salary Range
The expected starting salary for external candidates is at least $23.10 per hour and may be higher depending on position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is eligible forState of Minnesota employee benefits.
