Job Description
With the continued growth in the industry Scotlynn is currently hiring a part-time Kitchen Assistant at our office in Brant ON for maternity-leave coverage. This role is ideal for experienced organized line/prep cooks seeking structured day shifts and who thrive in a small team environment.

THE ROLE
The Kitchen Assistant will join our team to help maintain the Healthy Meal Program at Scotlynn by planning preparing and serving healthy meals for our 100 employees. Asyou will be working in a very small team providing a clean kitchen and eating space organization and time-management skills are essential for this fast-paced and high-volume environment.
This role could also be known as line cook prep cook and/or sous chef.
ABOUT YOU
Successful Scotlynn Candidates Have:
- Previous kitchen experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced high-volume environment
- Dedicated to maintaining a clean kitchen and eating areas
- Ability to work as a member of the team and independently
HOW YOULL SUCCEED WITH SCOTLYNN
- Preparing delicious healthy meals for over 100 employees
- Assist in menu planning
- Perform cleaning tasks such as dishes sweeping mopping etc.
- Checking inventory and ordering product when required
YOUR COMMITMENT
- This is a part-time role
- Contract position Maternity Leave Coverage
- Day shifts
- Weekends off
