SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Maintaining inspecting and testing winching and ancillary equipment belonging to LGH Winches and its clients to ensure that these comply with the statutorily established rules.
OVERVIEW OF ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Maintenance testing and certification of winching and ancillary equipment.
- Potential requirement to participating in the breakdown service for maintenance/repair of winching equipment outside office hours.
- Ensuring correct administrative completion.
- Co-responsibility for order and tidiness in the workshop.
- Any other work relating to the workshop.
- The delivery and collection of kit
- QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Basic command of the English language both orally and in writing.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills FLT Licence
- Full Driving Licence
- Basic Microsoft Skills
- Experience of Workshop / Yard Environment
- Basic safety awareness and understanding
- A positive and determined approach to researching and analysing breakdowns
- Self-motivated with capability of working independently
- Ability to prioritise effectively under pressure when required
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Able to travel throughout the UK as required
- Undertake training courses relevant to your role
- Able to occasionally work outside normal working hours (weekends/evenings)
- Comfortable and confident working at height
Desirable
- Completed training or qualification in mechanics engineering electromechanical disciplines or comparable level obtained through experience.
- Knowledge or understanding of hydraulics is desirable.
- Previous experience of working on plant HGVs or agricultural equipment
- LGV Class 2
- CPC
- Diesel engine Mechanics experience

Salary:
25000.00 - 28000.00 per annum DOE
