Job Description
Our Materials group is hiring an AZ Driver for our Tatlock Quarry location. Our fleet is both tri-axle/pup and tractor/trailers combinations with automatic transmissions
Job Location: Tatlock Quarry (177 McIlraith Rd Clayton ON)
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Transport materials to and from site locations.
- Operate a wheel loader to load the truck when required (new hires will be trained).
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and perform minor maintenance tasks.
- Navigate rough terrain safely and effectively.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures use PPE as required.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with quarry staff and other team members.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Valid AZdrivers license
- CVOR and personal abstract (validity within 30 days)
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Ability to work 12-hour days
- Shift is one week of days and one week of nights
- Loud dusty environments
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Occasionally unplanned long shifts
- Available for multiple weekends per year and overnight shifts
