As a Cloud Operations Analyst you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance monitor system health and implement improvements to enhance overall reliability. The ideal candidate is well-versed in cloud technologies possesses strong analytical skills and thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain the health performance and security of our cloud-based systems.
Respond to and resolve incidents alerts and service requests in a timely manner.
Implement Standardize and maintain automation processes for routine operational tasks.
Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with security and operational policies.
Plan implement and monitor Continues Integration/Continues Delivery (CI/CD) activities in the cloud environment.
Develop and implement security solutions together with our security team and contribute to hardening and securing our cloud systems.
Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical incidents.
Work with vendors and service providers to troubleshoot issues and optimize services.
Assist in the planning and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity procedures.
Stay current with industry best practices and emerging cloud technologies.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5 years of experience administering Cloud based infrastructure AWS Azure OCI
Proven experience in cloud operations or a similar role.
Certification in cloud platforms such as OCI Azure AWS or Google Cloud is a plus.
Strong understanding of cloud-based infrastructure services and deployment models.
Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g. Python PowerShell).
Experience with monitoring and logging tools for cloud environments.
Experience with Continues Integration/Continues Delivery (CI/CD) automation configuration tools and deployment processes.
Experience with container solutions and can manage Kubernetes or similar platforms.
Operating system (Microsoft Linux) and database know-how are an advantage.
Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced certifications in cloud operations or related areas.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
Knowledge of container orchestration platforms (e.g. Kubernetes).
Understanding of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
