Job Description

Humanities Teacher South eastern suburbs

SchoolHouse is working in partnership with a co-educational independent school in the south eastern suburbs. With a focus on innovative and contemporary curriculum students are encouraged to be independent and self-directed in their learning journey. Staff enjoy working in collaborative teams in a close-knit and diverse community where as a smaller school each student is known and celebrated.

Humanities Years 8 and 9
Commencing July 2025
Term 3 Contract until September 2025
Part time or Full time from 0.5-1.0FTE

Requirements

Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. Masters of Teaching / Bachelor of Education / PGCE)
Current VIT registration (or eligibility to gain)
Appropriate qualifications and experience in teaching Middle Years Humanities
Working Rights for Australia (or eligibility to gain) including Skilled Migrant and Working Holiday visas
